Opening the Can

Opening the Can explores the emotional and physical journey of a family affected by cancer. It has been developed to enhance the understanding of science through the arts using the biomedics of cancer. It links with drama, science and PHSE and is designed for Key Stages 2 & 3.

Face Front, in partnership with Theatre Venture, commissioned writer Penny Cliff to script the play for 10-14 year olds. The project has a full production team including design and media, and is the first major production to be toured to theatres by Face Front.
